steppers join the army!

This weekend, I went with the step for a weekend on the north coast of Honduras. The father of the family where they are living is a Colonel in the army - so he welcomed us to his base near San Pedro Sula --- an signed everyone up!.

We were thoroughly looked after - and were even given a tour of the Naval Base in Puerto Cortes.

Apparently this was the only US ship not damaged in the Pearl Harbour Attack. About 30 years ago, it was donated to Honduras by the US Navy - and has ended up like this.
