Buenos Aires (Latin Link Leaders conference)

I've just come back from Argentina - where I've been at Latin Link's team leadership conference -- which was great to get to know the leaders of the other teams and compare notes about how they organise themselves.
As we were in Argentina, we also ate lots of beef!! This restaurant was called 'Follow the Cow'!

We had an afternoon trip to the centre of Buenos Aires and visited a few sites....

Plaza de Mayo -- where the Mothers of the Disappeared still protest every week.

La Boca -- famous for the brightly coloured buildings, tango and the home stadium of Maradona!!

And the cemetery - where all the rich and famous families of Buenos Aires keep huge and elaborate Mauseleums for their family tombs. It quite an errie place - almost like a city in it's own right - but without the living people! (except the tourists of course searching for the famous people amongst the graves!)

- which includes Evita.....
