I've just spent a lovely week at Koinonia Farm in Georgia, USA. https://www.koinoniafarm.org
It's an intentional community and organic farm, and a great place to chill out for a while.
They started 75 years ago, as an interracial community - which got them
boycotted and bombed in segregated south of the time, but they
continued, knowing thatwhat Jesus and Paul talked about God's love taking away the barriers between us, had to be put into practice.
These days they focus on organically farming their pecan trees and cows. As well as continuing to teach peacemaking, campaign and work for racial justice.
I had a great week, getting to know some of the community, and helping out with their work - I particularly liked helping in the bakery and chocolate room - as they prepare pecan and chocolate gifts.
And great to be in a place that's peaceful and relaxing -- and that's got a great library as well. Thank You Koinonia Farm.
