Comibam in Panama

On the way back to Guatemala, I went via a conference in Panama, all about mission sending from Latin America. It was a great week of discussion and inspiration.

The conference was held on the OM Ship Logos Hope, which is travelling around Latin America at the moment. The 400 strong international crew were great hosts, and it was a fantastic setting as we discussed the future of mission agencies in Latin America.
I also got to catch up with some friends -- a few other Latin Link members attended the conference, and it was lovely to see Janice, ex member who´s working on the ship at the moment.

We were staying in a hotel right on the canal - so I was able to swim every morning - which is a great cure for jetlag!
And watch the container ships go by as they enter the canal. You probably can´t see in the photo but this one was called 'Eurovision' which made me chuckle!

Update

Sorry it´s been a while since I´ve updated the blog.

I had a good couple of months in Devon, enjoying some time with family and friends. Here´s a few holiday snaps....

Getting told off by the Harbour Master for going for a leisurely swim!!
I´m the one that didn´t bellyflop!

And I did a bit of work as well - helping with the Latin Link Orientation for new Steppers and Striders -- Always great fun!
