Almost there

It's now less than 2 weeks to go before I fly to Guatemala (Inspite of my environmental aspirations to travel by cargo boat, it didn't work out very practical this time. Perhaps next time!)
So I'm spending my last couple of weeks in England making sure that I appreciate all that's British (full english breakfast, sunday roasts, fish and chips, clotted cream, swimming in the sea!), and seeing lots of friends before I go. My good intentions of spending lots of time revising my Spanish haven't actually materialised!!!! - But then I will be spending my first couple of months in Guatemala doing some intensive language study so all is not lost. I'm really looking forward to getting there.

Exciting stuff! - Cargo ship would have been interesting, how long would it have taken? I remember the last couple of weeks before we went to Uruguay - there was something odd about it, as we'd packed up everything and were visiting family before finally heading off, it was a nice time - make the most of it, and make sure you stock up on teabags, marmite (if you like it) and chocolate!
