Last weekend, I took the step team to Semuc Champey. It´s a beautiful area of Guatemala, with a river and cave system with limestone pools over the top. Beautiful to swim in.
The climb up to the lookout point was hard work, but we were rewarded with great views from the top.
As it was Easter week, the pools were packed with people.
Our hostel was on the river, so we could relax there. As well as jump off a rope swing into the river. I´m not quite sure how, but I managed to bruise several of my fingers in the process. The swelling is beginning to go down now though!.
