I've just come back from Recife - where I was meeting with a bunch of the Latin Link team leaders and short term coordinators. We had a packed programme of discussions and consideration of theological issues facing the church in Latin America, and managed to make sense of it, even in 35 centigrade heat! I had a swim in the sea every morning before breakfast but was disappointed that there were no shark sightings!!
Occassionally we had time off to visit the local ice cream shop......
.... and see the nearby historic town of Olinda.
